At Casa Mia, we are committed to delivering fresh, artisan Italian treats straight to your doorstep, exactly the way they are meant to be enjoyed.
How Our Delivery Timeline Works:
Orders are typically processed and prepared within 1-2 business days.
Your Arrival Date = Artisan Preparation Time (1–2 business days) + Courier Shipping Time.
Please note: Selecting an upgraded "Next-Day" service means your package travels on a prioritised, fast-tracked route once it leaves our kitchen. It does not bypass our fresh baking and preparation timeline.
1. Processing & Dispatch Schedule

Artisan Preparation: Because our items are handcrafted fresh, orders typically require 1–2 business days to be processed and prepared.

Freshness Dispatch Schedule: To ensure your delicate treats do not sit in a transit warehouse over the weekend, we usually dispatch parcels Monday through Thursday.

Weekend Orders: Any orders placed between Friday and Sunday will be prepared fresh and dispatched starting the following Monday.
2. Delivery Eligibility by Product Type
We deliver across the UK Mainland. Your delivery options depend on the items in your basket:

Nationwide Standard Shipping: Available for non-perishable goods (e.g., our award-winning Amaretti, Caprese boxes, dry cakes, and biscuits).

Perishable & Cream-Based Items: Fresh cream items and delicate pastries are eligible for nationwide shipping only if the Chilled Next-Day Delivery option is selected at checkout. Otherwise, they must be collected locally from our Leeds Office.
3. Shipping Options & Delivery Pricing

Standard Nationwide Shipping: Uses a Tracked 24h service. Please note this is a courier delivery aim, not a contractual guarantee. Parcels usually arrive within 2–5 business days (including preparation time).

Guaranteed Next-Day Delivery: A prioritised courier service ideal for time-sensitive orders or weekend requirements. It guarantees delivery the day after dispatch (including Saturdays, if required).

Chilled Next-Day Delivery: Mandatory for fresh cream items. Includes custom thermal-insulated packaging and specialised ice packs designed to maintain safe, chilled temperatures throughout transit. It guarantees delivery the day after dispatch (including Saturdays, if required).

Note: If you have a strict deadline or specific event date, please state this clearly in the 'Order Instructions' box at checkout.
4. Peak Seasons & Bank Holidays
During busy holidays (Christmas, Easter, Mother’s Day) and UK Bank Holidays, postal networks experience higher volumes and localized delays.

Non-Delivery Days: Couriers do not collect or deliver on Sundays or UK Bank Holidays (including Early May, Spring Bank Holiday, and August Bank Holiday).

Holiday Closures: No dispatches occur over the Easter weekend (Good Friday through Easter Monday) or the Christmas/New Year period (Dec 24–26, Dec 31, and Jan 1). Normal service resumes on the next regular working day.

Our Recommendation: To guarantee fresh delivery for a specific event, we strongly advise ordering at least 7 days in advance or upgrading to a Guaranteed Next-Day service at checkout.
5. Click & Collect – Leeds Office and HQ Bakery (Unit 9)
Local customers are welcome to collect orders directly from our Leeds Office and central kitchen free of charge.

Hours: Monday to Saturday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (by prior appointment/selection at checkout).

Upon Arrival: Please ring all the entrance bells or call our kitchen line directly at 0113 547 1864 so our team can bring your fresh order down.
6. Packaging, Freshness & Allergens

Consolidated Packaging: To keep our carbon footprint low, mixed orders (including standard and Gluten-Free items) are consolidated into a single shipping box.

Cross-Contamination Safety: To ensure absolute safety inside mixed boxes, every Gluten-Free item is individually wrapped. If you are ordering a mix box and prefer your Gluten-Free items to be packed in a completely separate physical box, please leave a request in the 'Order Instructions' box at checkout.

Allergen Disclaimer: Our central production kitchen handles ingredients containing gluten, nuts, and dairy, alongside other major allergens from the UK 14 Allergen list. While we follow strict separation protocols, we cannot 100% guarantee a completely cross-contamination-free environment.
7. Missed Deliveries

Missed Deliveries: If no one is available to accept your package, the courier will leave a card or attempt a redelivery the following day. We cannot accept responsibility for perishables spoiled due to multiple missed delivery attempts.
